How you will make a difference:
As the Senior Software Engineer, you will play a key role as part of an agile team building innovative products that make life better for people.
* Develop and deploy full stack applications and solutions using modern architectural patterns including Event-Driven Architecture, Domain-Driven Design, and Microservices
* Design and implement scalable distributed systems that handle complex business domains
* Work with product and technical peers to understand requirements and deliver outcomes
* Lead technical design discussions and help with architectural patterns and best practices
* Participate in design and code reviews with peers to elevate the quality of engineering
* Build in safety to move fast by working in small increments, writing testable and maintainable code, and getting continuous feedback
* Advance the values of the organisation (caring, accountability, integrity, empowerment, passion, fun)
What will make you stand out:
* Extensive experience in professional software development, with a strong track record of building and delivering high-quality applications
* Expert proficiency with JavaScript (NextJS, TypeScript, and SST)
* Strong experience with Event-Driven Architecture and microservices patterns
* Cloud expertise, particularly AWS (EventBridge, DynamoDB, Lambda)
* Knowledge of security patterns, including OAuth 2.0 and fine-grained authorisation
* Excellence in both technical and business communication
* Self-motivated with ability to inspire and mentor others
* Experience helping lead technical initiatives and architectural decisions
