Global Key Account Manager – Automotive (Europe)
A leading semiconductor manufacturer headquartered in China is expanding its international presence with the establishment of a new European subsidiary. To support this growth, we are seeking an experienced Global Key Account Manager to lead and develop business with automotive customers across Europe.
This position will play a central role in strengthening relationships with key Tier 1 automotive customers, managing global accounts, and ensuring alignment between European operations and global strategy. The role combines commercial leadership with strong technical and project coordination skills.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and expand relationships with key automotive Tier 1 customers across Europe
* Act as the main interface between customers and internal teams, coordinating global business activities
* Identify new opportunities and lead business development initiatives with existing and prospective accounts
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Europe and Asia to ensure project success and customer satisfaction
* Contribute to long-term strategy and revenue growth within the automotive segment
Requirements
* Minimum 5 years of sales or key account management experience within the semiconductor industry
* Proven experience working with automotive Tier 1 customers
* Strong business acumen with a structured and results-driven approach
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and coordination skills
* Solid technical understanding and ability to support complex project discussions
* Willingness to travel approximately 30% across Europe and occasionally to Asia (2–3 times per year)
* Fluency in English and German is required; additional languages such as French, Italian, or Chinese are advantageous
