Key Responsibilities:
Provide expert support to children and families under Child in Need, Child Protection, Pre-Proceedings, and Care Proceedings plans.
Manage and respond to your own caseload, including urgent matters, while working from both home and the office.
Engage collaboratively with families, using child-centred approaches to strengthen and protect family dynamics.
Participate in multi-agency meetings and contribute to accurate report writing.
Offer guidance on Adoption processes when necessary.
Actively contribute to team meetings and share professional knowledge and experience.
Support the Family Safeguarding team in covering essential duties, ensuring consistent service delivery.
Requirements:
Experience working with children and families in safeguarding roles.
Ability to manage diverse safeguarding plans effectively.
Experience with Adoption is desirable but not essential.
Dedication, flexibility, and excellent communication skills.
