Due to growth, we are looking for a Proposals Manager to join our vibrant team based in Manchester or London.
Costain's Energy Sector improves people's lives by solving our client's complex energy challenges through excellence in engineering and delivery. The sector delivers through 4 core bundles - namely Engineering Services - Production & Processing Plant, Engineering Services - Distribution Systems, Managed Services and Professional Services. We face 3 primary markets - Energy Resilience, Energy Transition and Energy Connectivity.
As part of the Energy Sector Business Winning team, the Proposals Manager will focus on delivery proposals and co-ordinating Business Winning activities. The role will also manage the bid collateral library and ensure that information in work winning management systems is accurate and up-to-date.
Supporting the business by planning and managing the bid process and delivering responses in line with Costain's brand and governance processes. You will work closely with sector and capability leads to translate winning strategies into smart, concise and compelling documents and presentations, ensuring bids go out on time, that all questions are answered and ultimately, place Costain in the best possible position for success.

Role Requirement
• Degree in relevant discipline, with a minimum of 5 years' experience. Plus, APMP Foundation/Practitioner Qualification.
• Experience of proposals delivery for medium to large value contracts preferably in the Energy Sector.
• Experience in marketing activities that support business strategy delivery.
• Must be able to manage administration support and other members of the team to ensure the successful delivery of the tender.

Working arrangement: This role can be based in either our Manchester or London offices - complemented by Costain's dynamic working approach that enables proportionate home working.
