Job Description
As Procurement Manager, you will report directly to the local Managing Director with a dotted line into global procurement leadership, taking ownership of sourcing and purchasing strategy across the site.
1. Lead procurement activities for direct and indirect materials, services, and capital projects
2. Manage and develop a Purchasing Supervisor, with indirect oversight of a Buyer
3. Drive supplier performance across cost, quality, delivery, and risk management
4. Negotiate pricing, contracts, and long‑term supplier agreements
5. Partner cross‑functionally with Engineering, Manufacturing, Planning, Finance, and Quality
6. Support engineer‑to‑order manufacturing and operational growth initiatives
7. Align local procurement activity with global policies and commodity strategies

The Successful Applicant
For the Procurement Manager we are seeking:
8. A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline
9. 7+ years of procurement or supply chain experience within a manufacturing environment
10. Proven experience operating within matrix organizations and multicultural, global teams
11. Strong background in strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, and contract management
12. Hands‑on experience with SAP enterprise resource planning systems
13. Confident leadership style with the ability to operate independently and influence senior stakeholders
14. Experience supporting engineer‑to‑order or industrial manufacturing environments is highly desirable
