Pick Everard's thriving Structural Engineering team in Nottingham is expanding and looking to recruit a Structural Engineer, who will have the opportunity to work on exciting new ventures and undertake site survey work.
There will be a wide, varied workload and the role will focus on the design and management of a diverse range of projects including local government, commercial, custodial, residential, and central government. Take a look at some of our projects here:

You can expect to become involved in:
* A wide range of projects across sectors, including commercial, education, healthcare, defence, and infrastructure.
Your core duties will include:
* Ensuring high-quality technical delivery of projects
* Ensuring projects are delivered on time and to budget.
* Assisting on Surveys and supporting junior staff members
* Acting as point of contact for client/contractor queries.
* Minimising health and safety risks in all aspects of structural discipline and input to the wider project health and safety assessment.
About You
Our ideal Structural Engineer must have:
* A minimum of BSc or BEng in Civil/Structural Engineering, MSc or MEng preferred
* Good verbal communication – able to discuss work and communicate effectively to work collaboratively as part of a team
* Experience relevant to UK practice and knowledge of UK design standards, codes of practice, and methods of construction
* Familiarity with structural engineering modelling, analysis, and design software (AutoCAD and Revit)
It would be nice for you to have:
* The ability to work to deadlines and manage time with multiple tasks
* Approaching Incorporated/Chartered membership of ICE or IStructE
* Experience visiting sites
* The motivation to undertake relevant CPD and to increase skills and knowledge
