Birmingham and Solihull Women’s Aid has supported women and children affected by domestic violence for over 40 years. Could you be part of our team as we continue our mission to end domestic violence and abuse?
BSWA is the region’s leading charity in tackling violence against women and girls. It offers a helpline, webchat, drop-in services, community support, and emergency accommodation in six refuges across the area.
Our projects support women in the criminal justice system, healthcare settings, and throughout the community, providing support to women and children experiencing domestic violence. Additionally, we have colleagues offering training and consultancy to businesses and health and social care professionals, raising awareness on gender-based violence issues.
We are seeking like-minded women to join our enthusiastic team of workers, all passionate about supporting women and children who have experienced domestic abuse and addressing the wider issues of violence against women and girls.
This role involves working with children and young people to provide safe interventions and support around domestic violence. You will also deliver domestic violence awareness sessions to children, young people, and professionals.
