You will be required to undertake administration and training duties in support of the Processing, Testing and Issue of Blood Component production. Typically, these duties will involve:
* Coordinating training and induction of new and less experienced colleagues.
* Maintaining up to date training in order to fill in at operational level during periods of staff shortage.
* Update the training Matrix.
* Produce report for mandatory training.
* Undertake departmental tours. Create and update training plans.
* Your previous knowledge, skills and expertise will enable you to work independently to exercise your initiative and discretion in developing the role and the support to the department lead and our key internal and external stakeholders across the NHS.
Working within the directorate, youll have the opportunity to engage with a diverse range of people to drive performance. You may be required to work some Bank Holidays and/or weekends based on local departmental rotas and operational need (e.g. to provide tailored training on weekend tasks).
