Main Purpose of the Role:
This is a great opportunity for a Junior Finance Assistant to grow their career within a dynamic, fast-paced e-commerce environment. You’ll play an integral role in a supportive finance team, contributing to process improvements, strengthening financial controls, and driving operational support as the business continues its rapid expansion.
Key Responsibilities:
* Process sales and purchase invoices accurately using Xero
* Perform bank reconciliations, including purchases via Soldo
* Ensure invoices are correctly mapped from A2X in Xero
* Support month-end procedures and reconciliations
* Assist with statutory audits and ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations
* Contribute ideas for improving financial and commercial processes
* Carry out general administrative finance duties as required
Requirements:
* Ideally 1+ year’s industry experience
* AAT Level 2 qualified
* Proficiency with accounting software (Xero experience is a plus)
* Strong attention to detail and initiative in problem-solving
* Ability to prioritise workload in a fast-paced environment
* High level of professionalism and discretion
* Strong ownership of tasks and proactive work ethic
* Excellent communication and written English
* Strong numerical skills and Excel competence (essential)
