Our Newcastle Quorum nursery has an Ofsted rating of Outstanding and a capacity of 108 children. We have a dedicated team and an allotment space for growing fruits and vegetables. What to Expect as an Early Years Teacher
* Lead planning and delivery of age-appropriate activities aligned with the EYFS framework.
* Observe, assess, and plan for your key children, providing developmentally appropriate next steps.
* Mentor and guide team members, contributing to curriculum development.
* Act as Key Person, building relationships with families and supporting SEND/ASL needs.
* Create a safe, inclusive environment supporting emotional and social development.
* Encourage and praise children’s development and achievements.
Ideal Candidate
* Hold QTS, EYTS, or EYPS qualification.
* Extensive experience in an early years setting, ideally as a Nursery or Early Years Teacher.
* Leadership and mentoring skills.
