Job Description: Are you passionate about warehouse operations and logistics? Looking to make a real impact in a dynamic and growing company? We’re currently seeking a Warehouse Operative to join our dedicated team at our Highbridge site.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Operate Pivot, Counterbalance and PPT forklift trucks to support warehouse operations.
2. Safely load and unload deliveries, making sure stock is stored in the correct locations to maintain an organised and efficient warehouse layout.
3. Accurately receive, locate, pick, and dispatch goods using the warehouse management system and handheld scanners, ensuring all items are handled with care and in accordance with company procedures.
4. Support inventory management by replenishing and consolidating stock, helping to maintain optimal inventory levels and smooth operational flow.
5. Contribute to maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organised working environment, supporting health and safety standards throughout the warehouse.
6. Complete all required documentation accurately and report any equipment defects or operational issues in line with established warehouse procedures.
Requirements:
7. A Pivot, Counterbalance and Ride-on PPT licence is preferred, but training may be provided.
8. Good communication and team working skills.
9. Attention to detail is essential.
10. Ability to work within a fast paced environment.
11. Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
12. Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative.
