Cleaner (Dental Practice)
Trallwn Dental, Swansea
Monday-Friday working 10 hours per week

As a Dental Practice Cleaner, you’ll play a key role in keeping our practice compliant, and offering our dentists and staff a safe, clean space to conduct treatments.
You’ll set the highest standards for your team and our patients.
Key responsibilities and codes:
6. Cleaning of designated areas
7. Working to the cleaning standards of a dental practice
8. Following Health & Safety ,COSHH and all relevant and new regulations
9. Maintaining full accurate cleaning records – daily, weekly, monthly, six monthly and annually
10. Understand and implement the National Standards of Healthcare Cleanliness 2007 and 2021 and the National Colour Coding Scheme
11. Working to Infection Control measures
12. Care of the cleaning equipment
13. Understanding and assurance of Personal Protective Equipment
14. Using and handling electrical equipment
15. Responsibility of lone worker policy and risk assessment
16. Waste management (not handling hazardous or sharp waste)
17. Understanding confidentiality
18. Carrying out any other reasonable management requests
Key skills and experience:
19. Previous cleaning experience in a similar role
20. Understanding of COSHH regulations is desirable
21. High attention to detail
22. Reliable with excellent timekeeping
23. Ability to work independently
24. Requirement to achieve client vetting clearance for the role
