The Role
The Sales & Customer Service Representative will work in a very dynamic environment across a diverse portfolio of products to both B2B and B2C. The role involves interpreting tender information to provide project quotations and sales administration tasks to support the team in driving sales.
Responsibilities
* Manage order processing, including checking stock levels, data entry, processing, and customer follow-up.
* Liaise with logistics to organize shipments within customer expectations.
* Respond promptly and professionally to all customer communications via phone, email, webchat, and web forms. Extract the true brief to address customer needs, providing technical and commercial advice or referring calls to the appropriate manager.
* Assist customers with product and service questions; suggest additional products and services.
* Resolve product or service issues by clarifying complaints, identifying causes, working with Quality to find solutions, expediting corrections, and following up to ensure resolution.
* Contribute to individual, team, and department sales objectives.
* Proactively engage with customers to identify growth opportunities and improve Customer Satisfaction (CSAT).
* Maintain and update CRM system accurately.
* Follow up on customer quotations to track project status and update CRM accordingly.
* Make lapsed and prospect calls to generate new business based on the sales operating system.
* Perform ad hoc office administration as required.
* Support other team members within the Sales Department.
Candidate Profile
* 1-2 years’ experience in Sales or Administration.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a friendly yet professional manner.
* Strong multi-tasking, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
* Hands-on experience with MS Office, especially Excel.
* Ability to work under strict deadlines and prioritize tasks.
* Ability to work independently and on initiative.
* Resilience and capacity to work under pressure while maintaining quality.
* Experience in manufacturing is beneficial but not essential.
* Experience with ERP systems is advantageous but not essential.
* Ability to understand technical information and develop a detailed understanding of products and services.
