Our client is a global player in the packaging industry.
Location
Any location in the sales region (Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Hungary, Bulgaria, Romania): home-office based. Alternatives include Slovakia or Poland (preferred): hybrid on-site/home-office set-up.
This is a field sales position with full responsibility for managing an existing customer base. The role reports to the Sales Director Eastern Europe. The position is mostly home-based and covers the following markets: Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Hungary, Bulgaria, Romania.
The main responsibilities of the role include:
1. Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve targets and expand market presence.
2. Conduct client meetings, including technical consultations and deal negotiations.
3. Identify new opportunities and areas for growth.
4. Build and maintain strong client relationships, understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions.
5. Proactively engage with customers, address concerns, and ensure high satisfaction.
6. Oversee the regional sales budget, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
7. Analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities, adjusting strategies accordingly.
8. Collaborate with R&D, Product Marketing, and Operations to align sales strategies.
9. Prepare and present sales reports to senior management, highlighting achievements and challenges.
Candidate profile
1. Proven experience in B2B field sales, especially in cosmetics, personal care, or home care markets.
2. Sales-driven mentality, capable of managing existing accounts and developing new business.
3. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships and influence stakeholders.
4. Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
5. Technical sales knowledge to advise customers on product applications.
6. Ability to respond rapidly to customer needs and provide excellent service.
7. Fluent in English; additional regional languages are a plus.
8. Passionate, driven, team-oriented, and motivated.
9. Experience in beauty, personal care, or home care packaging is highly desirable.
10. Willingness to travel extensively (at least 50%) across the region.
