Based at our London Head Office, you will play a pivotal role in leveraging data and analysis to inform buying & trading decisions, maximize sales and profits, and contribute to business strategy and growth.
We are expanding our merchandising team to support our next growth phase. Your responsibilities will include team development, improving merchandising systems and processes, and working closely with buying, supply chain, retail, and online teams to ensure seamless product delivery across channels.
You will be a visible leader, working with stakeholders across the organization, especially with the buying team. You should bring innovation, experience, energy, and enthusiasm, providing strategic vision with attention to detail, and embodying the brand as an ambassador and role model.
Here’s what you’ll be doing:
* Collaborate with the Director of Merchandising and stakeholders to develop strategic plans and support trading decisions.
* Ensure accurate data is used and analyzed for commercial decisions, working with IT to improve data integrity.
* Support stakeholders with inventory and trading information, automating reports where possible.
* Coordinate business KPIs and documents such as business OTB and WSSI.
* Own the strategy for Womenswear & Lifestyle segments, guiding the team to achieve growth and profitability.
* Build knowledge of B&M data, systems, and processes, and provide training to the merchandising community.
Who we’re looking for:
* Market and customer-focused with awareness of competitors; experience with online marketplaces and physical retail is a plus.
* A trading mentality suited to a fast-paced, commercial environment.
* Experience in a complex, multi-channel environment with strategic thinking skills.
* Ability to build strong relationships internally.
