Back of House Team Member - Billing Aquadrome - Northampton, Northamptonshire Location: Billing Aquadrome NN3 9DA Reports To: Kitchen Manager Working 5 out of 7 days Monday – Sunday including weekends Job Summary The Back of House Team Member supports the kitchen operation by assisting with food preparation, maintaining cleanliness, ensuring food safety standards are met, and helping the kitchen run efficiently during service. This role is essential to delivering high-quality food and maintaining a safe, organized working environment. Key Responsibilities Assist with basic food preparation (washing, chopping, portioning ingredients). Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils. Wash dishes, cookware, and kitchen tools promptly. Ensure all food hygiene and health & safety standards are followed. Store deliveries correctly and rotate stock (FIFO). Support chefs and kitchen staff during busy service periods. Dispose of waste safely and keep workstations tidy. Report any maintenance or safety issues to management. Skills & Requirements Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Strong teamwork and communication skills. Good attention to detail and hygiene standards. Reliable, punctual, and hardworking. Previous kitchen experience is beneficial but not essential (training can be provided). Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays if required.
