Overview
The Supply Chain and Logistics team plays a vital role in ensuring a strong and efficient supply chain and logistics infrastructure that drives business growth and enables global expansion. They provide business planning guidance and logistics strategy assistance to existing businesses, helping them optimise their operational efficiency. We are looking for a senior Network Planning Manager to join our Fulfillment Operations team, responsible for Warehouse & Distribution Network and Automation Planning in the UK & Europe.
Responsibilities
* Lead the site selection and network layout planning for UK & Europe FBT warehouses and forward (cross-dock / distribution) warehouses. Optimize warehouse network coverage in line with FBT business growth to reduce last-mile delivery cost and lead time, while improving storage utilization and operational capacity.
* Own the selection and cost evaluation of warehouse automation equipment in Europe; manage the end-to-end process of equipment installation, testing, and commissioning, ensuring full compliance with local regulatory and safety standards.
* Design and integrate multi-warehouse transfer and distribution networks across Europe; collaborate with local delivery service providers to develop end-to-end warehouse–distribution solutions that improve order fulfillment efficiency.
* Build and maintain a UK & Europe warehouse network planning database; regularly evaluate warehouse operational efficiency and produce optimization strategies. Develop contingency plans for geopolitical risks, logistics congestion, and other emergency scenarios.
* Oversee key project timelines, budgets, and quality standards, ensuring annual strategic warehouse projects are delivered on schedule.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree and above. Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in Europe cross-border logistics or local warehouse and distribution network planning.
* Proficient in both Chinese and English as working languages, with the ability to conduct business communication fluently in order to closely work with cross-border teams and service providers in China;
* Strong understanding of Europe logistics hubs and local delivery network characteristics.
* Solid knowledge of warehouse planning and operations.
* Proficient in data analysis, capable of using Excel and/or BI tools to support decision-making.
* Familiar with European VAT regulations, warehouse licensing requirements, and labor laws, etc; strong awareness of supply chain risk management.
Preferred Qualifications
* Proven experience in the implementation and launch of automated warehouses or fulfillment centers in Europe.
* Experience in ROI analysis and cost modeling for warehouse automation equipment and infrastructure investments.
* Background in large-scale FBT, e-commerce fulfillment, or multi-country European warehouse network optimization projects.
