A fast-growing consultancy specialising in innovation-related tax reliefs is expanding its Capital Allowances team. Role Summary
The role sits within the Capital Allowances team, which supports clients through the design, construction, acquisition, and disposal lifecycle. The successful candidate will assist in preparing detailed and fully disclosed Capital Allowances reports to support HMRC submissions.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare detailed Capital Allowances claims in line with current UK tax legislation
* Analyse building contract documentation and company accounts
* Conduct cost planning and land valuations for tax purposes
* Assist with site surveys for claims preparation
* Identify qualifying expenditure from fixed asset additions
* Contribute to advisory work including land remediation, transaction planning, and due diligence
* Prepare client-facing presentations and pitch materials
* Collaborate with internal teams to meet deadlines and improve delivery processes
Requirements
* Minimum 2 years of experience preparing Capital Allowances claims
* Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving abilities
* Interest in tax, finance, and real estate
* Professional, articulate, and detail-oriented
* Adaptable, proactive, and a strong team player
* Confident in networking and client-facing situations
* Eligible to work in the UK
* RICS qualification (or working towards RICS, ATT, or CTA)
