About Aberlour and our People and Payroll Department
We are a values driven organisation delivering over 40 services across Scotland supporting vulnerable children, young people and families.
Our HR and Payroll functions are naturally a critical component of the organisation. Our team support the administrative requirements of our Scotland-wide organisation with responsibility for supporting a portfolio of services.
You will assist in delivering a full range of HR and Payroll Services, including applying rigorous safer recruitment processes, process additional payments, reviewing sickness entries against our sick pay rules, contracts management and answering staff queries. You will apply Aberlour standards using established administrative procedures to ensure consistency and meet quality and regulatory requirements. Working as part of this busy team you will contribute to the delivery of an excellent service and will have daily contact with managers and staff throughout the organisation.
What we are looking for....
We are looking for someone with past payroll or HR experience looking to work for an organisation that really cares about its staff. You will work 22.5 hours per week.
You hold a relevant qualification at SCQF level 7 or above (or equivalent knowledge) together with the ability to effectively use IT applications such as Word and Excel.
You will thrive on working with detail, have a passion for learning new processes and enjoy working as part of a team.
This post provides an excellent opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge of HR and Payroll within a fast-paced office environment, including using a specialised computerised HR system.
There is an expectation that individuals attend the Stirling Office regularly during the induction period. Hybrid Working can be supported and regular attendance at team meetings in the Stirling Office will be required.
