Job Description
We are looking for someone with strong analytical capability, excellent attention to detail, and confidence in engaging with both internal and external stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will be highly organised, comfortable working with data, and keen to develop their expertise within the utilities industry.
Key Responsibilities
1. Validate and process utility invoices, meter readings, and data within the Energy System.
2. Analyse consumption trends, including identifying spikes, gaps, and missing data.
3. Maintain and update utility data, baselines, and accruals to reflect client portfolio changes.
4. Produce accurate financial reports and payment files for Finance.
5. Provide payment details to energy suppliers and manage property change notifications.
6. Create data-intensive reports in line with contract timelines.
7. Manage and resolve queries from internal and external stakeholders.
8. Monitor utility consumption and investigate anomalies in usage data.
9. Liaise with account managers, subcontractors, finance teams, engineers, and the Energy Administrator.
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
10. Previous administrative experience, ideally within utilities or analytical roles.
11. Experience using utility invoice validation platforms (training available if required).
12. Understanding of utility supplies, distribution, or metering processes.
13. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel capabilities.
14. Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team.
15. Highly organised with excellent planning and scheduling skills.
16. Ability to understand, interpret, and analyse utility data.
17. Innovative mindset with a willingness to challenge existing processes.
18. Commitment to undertaking industry-accredited training.
19. High level of accuracy and strong analytical attention to detail.
