Pay: £35,000.00 per year Job Description: Main purpose and scope of job To manage the day to day operations with the MRF. Follow and comply with all safety and environmental regulations and ensure all staff, visitors and contractors are compliant. Ensure monthly targets are met. Maintain throughput levels without compromising the quality of materials produced. Drive performance, productivity and improvements whilst ensuring fixed and mobile plant is utilised. Position within organisation Reports to: Production Manager Responsible for: MRF operations Duties and key responsibilities – Health and safety Responsible for his/her personal safety, including others who may be affected by the maintenance department activities. In particular: Understand and implement the management system standards held by site. Understand and implement the company Health and Safety Policy. Be aware of their responsibility to comply with all company procedures. Assist with Risk Assessments if required on activities within their mechanical remit ensuring that the methods and systems of work are safe. Assist with written instructions of work methods outlining potential hazards and precautions, and ensure they are complied with.
