Our client, a reputable fresh food pub group, are looking to recruit a Chef de Partie to join one of their pubs near Cobham, Surrey. They offer fresh British produce with a modern approach.The Chef de Partie duties include: - Producing all necessary food for all food service operations as required.- Ordering of food for your section of the kitchen.- To ensure that all mise-en-place is always freshly prepared, and on time.- To ensure that all dishes reach the Pass correctly garnished the correct portion and size, presented on the prescribed serving dish in the prescribed manner.- To ensure that the section is being kept clean and tidy at all times.- To understand and comply with food hygiene regulations.- To ensure that junior chefs and trainees receive the right training and optimum guidance for their development and roles.- Ensure all Company Standards are adhered to in all departments at all times.The ideal Chef de Partie will have/be:- previous experience in a similar environment working with fresh produce- a flexible and self motivated approach to work, ensuring they work as a team to achieve common goals. - dynamic and decisive, by accepting personal responsibility for making things happen, by thinking ahead and developing contingency plans to best support the operation.-motivated, by being proactive and seizing opportunities to learn new skills or knowledge to improve your personal performance and department-a positive impact, by approaching situations with a 'can-do' a...
