We are looking for an adaptable and reliable Cover Teacher to work across a supportive secondary school in Wigan. This is a fantastic opportunity for teachers of any subject who enjoy variety and want to gain broad classroom experience.
The Role:
Delivering pre-set lessons across a range of subjects and year groups
Maintaining a positive learning environment and managing classroom behaviour
Providing consistency and continuity for pupils in the absence of their usual teacher
Flexible working opportunities – daily, short-term or long-term cover available
The Ideal Candidate:
QTS (or equivalent), with the ability to teach any subject at KS3/KS4
Confident managing classrooms and engaging with pupils across different subjects
Flexible, adaptable and professional
Suitable for both experienced teachers and ECTs looking to broaden their experience
