HAYS Construction and Property team are working with a prominent name in the local built environment sector to recruit a Project Manager. This well-established Belfast based practice operates across a broad range of project types and scales throughout Northern Ireland, the wider UK and Ireland.Known for its collaborative, quality driven approach and long standing client relationships, the organisation has a steady pipeline of work across public and private sector schemes. Due to continued growth, they are now seeking to strengthen their team with the appointment of an experienced Project Manager to support the successful delivery of projects from inception through topletion.
Your new role
As Project Manager, you will take responsibility for the management and coordination of projects across all stages, acting as the key point of contact between clients, consultants, and contractors. You will oversee programme, cost, risk and quality, ensuring projects are delivered in line with client expectations, contractual requirements and regulatory standards.The role will involve leading consultant teams, managing projecternance, coordinating information flow, and monitoring progress on site. You will contribute to strategic decision making, support junior team members where required, and take ownership of project delivery oues. Depending on experience, the role offers scope to manage multiple projects concurrently and play a key role in the ongoing growth of the team.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be an experienced Project Manager with a background in the built environment, ideally gained within a consultancy or professional practice setting. You should befortable working across multiple stages, managing programmes, budgets and consultant teams, and coordinating technical and non technical stakeholders.Strongmunication skills, a collaborative mindset and the ability to manage your own workload are essential. Experience delivering projects within the UK or Ireland is required, along with a good understanding of procurement processes, contracts, and projecternance. Relevant professional qualifications or working towards chartership would be advantageous.
