Our client, a national law firm, are recruiting for an ambitious Conveyancing Fee Earner / Solicitor for their office in Blackburn, Lancashire.
This is an excellent opportunity for a driven legal professional to take ownership of a varied caseload within a supportive and well-structured environment.
The Role
You’ll manage a full residential conveyancing caseload from instruction through to post-completion, including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, remortgages, new build transactions, and transfers of equity. This role offers long-term career prospects and the chance to work in a collaborative and reputable conveyancing department.
Key Responsibilities
• Handle a caseload of residential conveyancing matters from start to finish
• Draft and review legal documentation, including contracts and transfer deeds
• Liaise with clients, lenders, agents, and third parties to ensure smooth progression of files
• Conduct title checks and deal with any associated issues or enquiries
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with CQS standards and firm policies
• Contribute to departmental performance targets and business development as appropriate
Requirements
• Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive, or experienced Conveyancing Fee Earner
• 3–10 years’ experience in residential conveyancing
• Proven ability to manage a busy caseload independently
• Strong organisational, time-management, and communication skills
• High level of attention to detail and client care
• Familiarity with digital case management systems and Lender portals
