The Role
* Shop for, plan and prepare meals.
* Clean, cook and do laundry.
* Develop financial management skills.
* Maintain / improve their physical health.
* Build their confidence and self-esteem.
* Develop social links outside their home.
* May involve facilitating group activity sessions. No personal care is involved.
Qualifications & Requirements
* A minimum of 3 years demonstrable experience and/or a minimum level 2 qualification in Health and Social Care or similar related subject.
* A positive 'can do' attitude, and a willingness to actively support residents with daily living tasks.
* A warm and empathic approach.
* The ability to listen in an active and non‑judgemental manner.
* Effective communication & interpersonal skills (verbal and written).
You will also need to be reliable and have access to transport that ensures swift and smooth transitions between locations in and around Leicester City and Leicestershire (45p per mile paid for use of own vehicle).
