Assistant Store Manager, Calvin Klein – Bicester Village
About the Role
Our stores are the pulse of our business. You will lead store teams to generate sales, profit, minimize losses and provide an outstanding customer experience while maintaining visual standards.
Responsibilities
* Lead store teams to achieve sales, profit, loss minimization and excellent customer experience, ensuring the store is visually distinctive and impeccably maintained.
* Identify opportunities to grow business and improve performance through collaboration.
* Maintain corporate visual‑merchandising directives and standards for the sales floor and back‑room.
* Collaborate with the visual merchandising team to ensure clear communication and understanding between VM and store teams.
* Partner with store management to build opportunities and achieve company standards and objectives.
* Focus staff on quality relationships with internal and external customers.
* Ensure staff accountability in building a repeat customer base by providing spirited service.
* Complete daily/weekly store walkthroughs; evaluate product performance, pricing, staff service levels and inventory levels.
* Communicate to the Store Manager what drives sales, discuss issues and priorities, and develop strategies to maximize business.
* Ensure weekly visual presentation action plans are implemented.
* Analyze store‑level reports and create action plans to improve results.
* Assist with manpower planning, identification, recruitment, interviewing and hiring processes; recruit store personnel from diverse perspectives and backgrounds.
* Build bench strength for key positions, including possible successors.
* Participate in weekly management meetings and staff meetings.
* Clearly communicate staff sales goals, performance expectations, sales results and guidance on improvement.
* Provide a great customer journey and achieve exemplary mystery‑shop results.
About You
* Experienced supervisory or specialist role within a premium or luxury brand.
* Previous people‑management experience, capable of resolving conflicts and unproductive disagreements.
* Effective communicator who cultivates belonging.
* Collaborates to win, recognises and celebrates contributions and achievements.
* Courageous in giving feedback that promotes positive behavioural change.
* Adapts quickly and works with pace.
* Energetic, inspires trust and presents a clear presence on the shop floor.
