Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Hotel Manager to join our prestigious hospitality team. The ideal candidate will support the Hotel Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and maintaining high standards of service. Responsibilities
* Assist the Hotel Manager in supervising daily hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, and food & beverage departments.
* Ensure all guest services are delivered to the highest standards, fostering a welcoming and professional atmosphere.
* Support staff training programmes and oversee team performance to promote excellent customer service.
* Handle guest enquiries, complaints, and special requests efficiently and courteously.
* Coordinate with human resources on staffing schedules, recruitment, and employee relations.
* Monitor financial transactions, billing procedures, and inventory management to optimise operational efficiency.
* Assist in organising promotional events and marketing initiatives to enhance hotel visibility.
* Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and hotel policies at all times.
* Support the implementation of new procedures or systems aimed at improving overall service quality.
Skills
* Proven supervisory experience within the hospitality industry; previous hotel experience is highly desirable.
* Strong leadership abilities with the capacity to motivate and guide diverse teams.
* Excellent guest service skills with a focus on delivering memorable experiences.
* Multilingual or bilingual skills are advantageous for communicating effectively with international guests.
* Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously under pressure.
* Knowledge of human resources practices related to staffing, training, and employee engagement.
* Demonstrated ability to handle guest complaints professionally and diplomatically.
