Agile Delivery Manager
Location: Hybrid - London
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Delivery Manager with a proven ability to lead agile teams to deliver on business objectives. Your responsibilities will include managing agile ceremonies, driving project management initiatives, and optimizing team operations.
You will join a growing team of 12 professionals on a multi-year modernization journey for Decus Direct, a bespoke online quoting, binding, and documentation platform with analytics capabilities for underwriting and portfolio analysis.
The day-to-day:
* Translate business strategy into project roadmaps and delivery plans.
* Manage dependencies across project streams.
* Identify and eliminate blockers to achieve sprint and project goals.
* Ensure high-quality product delivery meeting business expectations.
* Implement agile metrics and reporting for project and team performance.
* Monitor budgets and benefits realization.
* Manage backlog definition and prioritization.
* Identify, assess, and mitigate risks and issues.
* Lead agile ceremonies.
* Coach teams in agile practices and capabilities.
* Promote a culture of continuous improvement.
* Build relationships with stakeholders and deliver monthly updates.
* Foster effective collaboration and communication across teams and departments.
* Ensure compliance with policies and standards, and develop procedures.
* Collaborate with external partners and vendors.
* Support recruitment and onboarding of new team members.
* Support additional initiatives as needed.
About you:
* Extensive experience as an Agile Project Manager.
* Agile project management certification.
* Skilled in Azure DevOps.
* Strong leadership and communication skills.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
* Strong problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
* Experience with senior stakeholders and steering committees.
* Proactive and adaptable with a hands-on approach.
* Strategic thinking and change management skills.
* Experience coaching agile methodologies is advantageous.
* Knowledge of insurance systems is advantageous.
