Assistant Cook – Driftwood Café
Driftwood café is a busy, family run café open 7 days a week from 9am serving fresh cooked-to order breakfasts and light lunches.
We're looking for people who can work in a fast paced environment with a can do attitude and a passion for homemade, locally produced food
Duties and Responsibilities:
* To support the Chef in the day to day duties of running the kitchen
* To assist with the preparation of the homemade soups, scones, quiches, fillings and all other menu items
* To assist/run Breakfast and Lunch service
* To step up and run the kitchen on the Chef's day off and holiday and adhere to the Chef's Job Description
* When required to be responsible for the running of The Driftwood kitchen and adhering to our health and safety food guidelines and ensuring that we retain our 5 stars
* To be able to work with a small fast paced team in a high pressured environment
* Maintain a clean environment and ensure compliance with all Health and Hygiene regulations
* Make sure relevant paperwork is current and up to date

Hours:
* 8am – 4pm, 24-36 hours per week
