About the Role We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Community Link Worker to join the Get Safe team. This role is focused on supporting and protecting children and young people at risk of exploitation, working closely with families and partner organisations to safeguard vulnerable individuals and divert them from harm. The Get Safe partnership supports children and young people affected by: Gangs Sexual Exploitation Trafficking Modern Day Slavery Going Missing/Absent Forced Marriage Criminal Exploitation This is a key role in raising awareness of exploitation risks, strengthening pathways of support, and delivering direct interventions to young people who are most vulnerable. Key Responsibilities Engage with vulnerable children and young people at risk of or experiencing exploitation. Build strong and trusting relationships with young people, families, and professionals to promote positive change. Deliver direct support and interventions to some of the most hard-to-reach individuals. Work in partnership with agencies such as youth services, education, health, and justice to raise awareness of the Get Safe agenda. Map and connect with local youth provision, creating effective referral pathways and upskilling youth workers.
