Job title - Veterinary Surgeon
Location: Glossop
Hours: 4 days per week. Weekends will be on a 1:7 basis initially, with Saturday morning consults and inpatient duties.

Salary: £40,000- £60,000 per annum (Depending on experience)

The team
Team consists of 8 vets (7 FTE), 10 RVNs, 1 SVN, 1 PCA and 9 Client care associates across 2 branches.
Shifts usually include 2 x 9-6 consult days, 1 x 9-7 Ops / Inpatient day and 1 x 8-4 2nd ops day. We have digital xray, dental xray, in house laboratory suite and have recently upgraded our ultrasound and endoscopy equipment. Additional services include Acupuncture, Physiotherapy and a wide range of Nurse clinics, PSS scheme accredited and ECC certificate holder.
Located in the beautiful peak district, Victoria vets has been part of the local community In Glossop for over 40 years, and Chapel for over 20 years. Direct train route to Manchester (30 minutes from Glossop) and a 50 minute drive to Sheffield from both sites.
What we’re looking for
* A team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment but can remain calm under pressure.
* Strong Clinical decision-making abilities, able to interpret diagnostics and make informed decisions
* Skilled at translating clinical insights into clear practical advice for clients
* Comfortable managing complex cases and supporting clients through challenging situations
* Experience designing and reviewing treatment protocols that improve outcomes and efficiency
* Problem solver who can adapt treatment plans and strategies to each unique case.
