Compensation:
$23 hourly
Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute preventative maintenance measures to keep our equipment operating efficiently and prevent any safety risks
* Take additional maintenance requests as assigned
* Ensure all equipment and systems such as HVAC units, plumbing fixtures, and electrical wiring are in working order by conducting routine maintenance and handle any repairs, if needed
* Keep a record of completed repairs and when equipment was last serviced
* Inspect the building for any structural damage to windows, doors, walls, and perform necessary repairs
As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll be the go-to expert for keeping our residential properties in top condition. Your responsibilities will include:
* Performing routine and emergency maintenance and repairs (plumbing, electrical, appliances, etc.)
* Troubleshooting and resolving maintenance issues promptly and professionally
* Conducting property inspections and preventative maintenance
* Preparing units for move-in and ensuring timely unit turnover, including painting, patching, cleaning, and repairs
* Responding to work orders professionally
* Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment
* Providing excellent customer service to and working collaboratively with the on-site team
Qualifications:
* Stellar communication skills, attention to detail, and work ethic
* Must be able to demonstrate advanced understanding of maintenance equipment, techniques and procedures
* Flexible availability for on-call maintenance requests on nights and weekends
* 2+ years of maintenance experience
* Knowledge of heating and air conditioning units, plumbing systems, and electrical systems
