Client Partner / Account Manager – AI & Data
Summary
Plan b AI, a fast-growing consultancy specialising in AI, Data, and IT technology services, is seeking a Client Partner / Account Manager to drive client acquisition, revenue growth, and market expansion. In this role, you will take ownership of developing new business opportunities, building long-term client partnerships, and positioning our AI and Data solutions and services to solve complex business challenges.
Responsibilities
* Business Development & Sales Growth
: Proactively identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities across AI, Data, and IT consultancy services. Develop and execute sales strategies to expand our client base and increase market share.
* Client Relationship Leadership
: Build and nurture strong relationships with senior stakeholders and decision-makers. Act as a trusted advisor by understanding their strategic priorities and aligning tailored solutions that deliver measurable business outcomes.
* Consultative Selling
: Engage in solution-focused conversations that uncover client needs and challenges. Articulate the value proposition of our AI and Data solutions and demonstrate tangible ROI.
* Account Expansion & Retention
: Maximise revenue opportunities within existing accounts by upselling and cross-selling services. Develop account growth plans to ensure long-term client satisfaction and retention.
* Market & Industry Insight
: Stay ahead of market trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies in AI and Data. Use this knowledge to shape go-to-market strategies and open new verticals.
* Pipeline Management
: Own the full sales cycle, from lead generation and proposal development through to contract negotiation and deal closure. Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and accurate forecasting.
Requirements
* Education
: Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Technology, or related field (Master's preferred).
* Experience
: 5+ years in sales, business development, or account management preferably within Data, AI or Technology consulting services. Proven success in winning new business and consistently exceeding revenue targets.
* Commercial Acumen
: Strong ability to understand client business models and propose innovative AI/Data solutions that drive growth, efficiency, and competitive advantage.
* Sales Expertise
: Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and closing skills. Track record of consultative, value-based selling.
* Networking & Relationship Building
: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage, influence, and build trust with senior decision-makers.
* Results Driven
: Highly motivated, self-starter with a hunter mindset and a proven ability to deliver against ambitious targets.
* Team Collaboration
: Comfortable working with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions that combine business strategy, technology, and consulting expertise.
