Tradewind Recruitment is working with a welcoming primary and secondary school on the Wirral to recruit a committed SEN Teaching Assistant. This is a full-time role supporting pupils with additional needs, helping them access learning and feel confident in the school environment.
This role is ideal for someone who is patient, proactive, and passionate about supporting children with special educational needs.
The role will involve:
1. Supporting pupils with SEN on a 1:1 and small-group basis
2. Assisting pupils with learning, engagement, and emotional regulation
3. Implementing support strategies set by the class teacher and SENCO
4. Supporting inclusion within the classroom and wider school environment
5. Building positive relationships with pupils and staff
This role is ideal for:
6. SEN Teaching Assistants or Learning Support Assistants
7. Candidates with experience supporting ASD, SEMH, ADHD, or complex needs
8. Psychology, education, or childcare graduates
9. Calm, nurturing, and resilient individuals
