Workplace Services Engineer - HMRC Edinburgh
Our purpose is to make the world more sustainable by building trust in society through innovation. As an User Support Technician you will contribute to this by being the face of Fujitsu working with end users on the HMRC account.
We are looking for a dynamic and driven IT Technician to be the face of Fujitsu working with end users on the HMRC account. Your role will primarily involve delivering face‑to‑face IT support to users at a Connect IT Bar within the HMRC Regional Centre in Edinburgh. You will work alongside other IT technicians on site, providing user support at a Connect IT Bar; supporting Network devices, PCs, Laptops, Surface Pros, telephony devices and other locally installed peripherals; and supporting AV setup within meeting rooms while completing regular checks to confirm meeting rooms are fully operational.
You will also be responsible for the management and delivery of local moves and changes on site, the development of key relationships with HMRC staff across various business areas, support to relevant Fujitsu (and sometimes HMRC) third parties, and feedback on perceived issues to ensure new services are engaged successfully, negating problems before they arise.

* Flexibility to travel within a defined geography to cover home workers and assist at other sites if necessary
* Ability to understand and resolve problems
* Excellent customer focus, providing key customer experience while remaining professional
* Independent worker taking accountability and ownership of day‑to‑day responsibilities while also being part of a wider team and working towards team objectives
