Job Title: Personal Assistant to Directors

Do you have proven experience as a Personal Assistant supporting senior leaders in a fast-paced, dynamic environment?

If you’re a highly organised PA with outstanding communication and diary management skills, this could be your next exciting opportunity.

As a Director's PA within Travis Perkins, you’ll provide full secretarial and administrative support to our Regional Directors. You’ll act as their key point of contact—managing schedules, organising meetings, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations across the team.

This is a varied and people-focused role that requires discretion, strong initiative, and exceptional attention to detail.

Please note: Expectation is 2/3 days per week in the office, with the remainder working from home. Travel to attend sub-regional RD meetings may be required.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Diary management, ensuring they are maintained and kept up-to-date at all times.
2. Organising all travel and hotel accommodation as required.
3. Booking meeting rooms and lunches.
4. Setting agendas and preparing slide decks for meetings with Branch Managers, Assistant Branch Managers, and Sales Management.
5. Traveling to attend BM and ABM meetings to take notes and coordinate with teams.
6. Minute-taking for HR meetings, including grievances, disciplinary hearings, appeals, and redundancy consultations.
7. First point of contact for HRSystem queries from Branch Managers and Directors, assisting with transfers, new starters, contract changes, and leavers.
8. Managing corporate memberships such as golf, booking tee times, and liaising with clubs.
9. Ordering office supplies and equipment as needed.
10. Logging lieu days and holidays for Directors’ direct reports.
11. Managing email correspondence for Directors.
12. Processing invoices for payment.
13. Building relationships within the team and with external suppliers.
14. Providing ad hoc administrative support as required.


Preferred Skills and Experience:

* Previous experience as a PA.
* Experience managing busy diaries at director level.
* Ability to prioritise workloads effectively.
* Strong communication and relationship management skills.
* Positive, self-motivated attitude with a proactive approach.
* Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Google tools is a plus.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* High accuracy and attention to detail.
