Specialist Autism & Neurodevelopmental Service Children & Young People £110,000 – £130,000 DOE We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join a dynamic multidisciplinary team in Cambridgeshire, delivering high-quality assessments and interventions for children and young people aged 2–16 presenting with social communication difficulties, autism, ADHD, anxiety, anger, and related neurodevelopmental or emotional needs. Key Responsibilities: * Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments using tools such as ADI-R, ADOS, RCP, and structured questionnaires. * Lead and contribute to MDT diagnostic discussions, offering psychiatric insight and clinical judgement. * Deliver generic and specialist psychological assessments, supporting accurate diagnosis and care planning. * Provide intervention sessions for children and their parents, where appropriate, focusing on emotional regulation, behavioural strategies, and psychoeducation. * Liaise with schools, social care, and other professionals to ensure joined-up support for families. Requirements: * GMC registration with a licence to practise. * Section 12 approval and/or MRCPsych desirable. * Experience working within CAMHS, neurodevelopmental services, or similar settings. * Skilled in using structured diagnostic tools and formulating complex presentations. * Excellent communication and teamworking skills.
