Vacancy: Site Administrator
Location: SARVAL Ltd, Hartshill
Reports to: Transport Manager (Red Meat)
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Contract: Permanent
Salary c£30k plus company benefits.
About the Role
We are currently seeking a Site Administrator to join our team at SARVAL Ltd, Hartshill. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive administrative support to the site, helping to ensure the delivery of an efficient, effective and compliant service. This role requires a high level of organisation, attention to detail and a strong commitment to health and safety.
Key Responsibilities
Duties will include, but are not limited to:
Completing, checking, filing and returning ABP documentation where required
Supporting internal and external audits, including assisting with traceability
Assisting with trailer servicing, defect reporting and associated paperwork
Monitoring tipping permits and notifying management of renewals
Maintaining accurate records of trailers on site through walk-round checks
Issuing mobile plant, fuel, vehicle keys and relevant documentation
Processing transport and office invoices and purchase orders in liaison with Finance
Handling and processing drivers’ cash in line with company procedures
Collating data for water bills and producing monthly reports
General office and weighbridge administration, including stock control of office supplies
Answering site telephone calls and supporting visitors and contractors in line with PPE requirements
Assisting with the automated weighbridge when required
Providing cover within the Transport department during holidays or sickness
Undertaking any other reasonable duties as requested by management

Person Specification
Essential Requirements:
GCSE Grade C or above (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics
Previous experience in a general or varied administrative role
Good IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
Knowledge of ABP documentation
Understanding of transport and quality/technical administration, including traceability
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Confident and professional telephone manner
Strong literacy, numeracy and computer skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to prioritise workload effectively
Flexible approach to working hours
Desirable:
Experience working in a continuous process manufacturing environment
