Job Overview
As an Aquapark Supervisor, you will be the on‑site lead during your shift, ensuring operations run safely and smoothly, guiding lifeguards and staff, and making decisions as needed.
You will coordinate sessions, inspect equipment, monitor water safety, handle customer queries and incidents, support rosters, complete safety checks, maintain accurate records, and enforce procedures. The role requires a hands‑on leadership approach to foster a security‑first culture and deliver an exceptional guest experience.
Responsibilities
* Lead and mentor lifeguards and aquapark staff during their shift.
* Coordinate activities, inspect equipment, and monitor water safety.
* Respond to customer queries and incidents calmly and professionally.
* Support rosters, conduct safety checks, maintain accurate records, and enforce procedures.
Qualifications and Experience
* Experience in a water‑based, leisure or safety‑focused environment, preferably in a supervisory role.
* Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
* Knowledge of safety procedures and the capacity to foster a positive, approachable environment for customers and staff.
Requirements
* Must be 16 years old or older at the time of assessment.
* Competent and confident in open water.
* Able to submerge under the water confidently.
* Able to swim at least 400 metres in a pool or open water, swimming continuously in a front crawl style and demonstrating urgency.
* Ability to pass a satisfactory DBS check.
