We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Operative to carry out general maintenance and repairs across residential developments in the South East, including London. This role involves a variety of tasks to ensure our properties remain safe, functional, and well-maintained.
Key responsibilities:
* Conducting minor electrical repairs (e.g., changing light fittings, replacing sockets)
* Basic plumbing tasks such as fixing leaks and unblocking drains
* General carpentry, including repairing doors, locks, and skirting boards
* Painting and decorating communal areas as needed
* Basic plastering and filling cracks or holes in walls
* Carrying out general repairs and upkeep of the buildings
* Inspecting and troubleshooting maintenance issues proactively
* Ensuring all work is completed in accordance with health and safety guidelines

Experience & Qualifications
* Previous experience in maintenance, handyman work, or a similar role (preferred)
* Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and carpentry repairs
* Driving Licence: Required

Hours: 42.5 hours per week, worked across five days within a seven-day period.
Salary: £27,000, with an annual review
Annual leave: 20 days plus bank holidays
