Job Purpose:
You will be key to your store’s success by collaborating with in-store colleagues and our UK Sales Team to provide a memorable customer experience to professionals & DIY enthusiasts. Your people skills will help maximize sales and market share of AkzoNobel products and accessories. You will also carry out customer deliveries to homes and businesses.
This is a full-time role, 40 hours per week, with shifts between 7am and 5pm Monday to Friday. You will work alternate Saturdays (8am to 4pm), with time off in lieu.
Job Responsibilities:
* Participate in engagement planning & monthly store meetings.
* Ensure customers receive a warm welcome, informed conversation & personalized proposals.
* Use client service tools to ensure a consistent customer experience.
* Support your store’s monthly customer contact plan.
* Follow merchandising plans to restock the shop floor.
* Load the van & plan delivery routes.
* Develop your skills & encourage colleagues to do so using our training tools.
Job Requirements:
* Proven experience in a customer service/retail role.
* Valid driving license.
* Enjoys a collaborative working environment supporting colleagues.
* Calm under pressure.
