Blue Arrow are currently recruiting for experienced Machine Operators in Leigh
Location: Leigh, WN7
Shift:
Monday- Friday
Weekly rotating shift pattern: 6am-2pm & 2pm-10pm
Pay Rate: £12.60 per hour, 40 hours a week
Skills & Experience:
* Experience as a machine operator
* Knowledge of production procedures
* Problem solving
* Decision making
* Concentration
* Attention to detail
* Teamwork
* Able to follow instructions and production schedules
* Physical stamina and strength
Main duties are:
* Grinding machine operation (full training given)
* Manual handling (up to 25kg bags)
* Forklift licence is beneficial but they will train people in house
* Loading and unloading trucks, lifting pallets onto platform & general warehousing duties)
* General housekeeping
* Safe working practices
* First aid training provided
