Lecturer in Legal Services
Location: Newcastle College Site
Hours: Full Time position
Salary: £32,136 - £42,848
Responsibilities
* Teach and assess on the T-Level Legal Studies provision.
* Play an active role in the marketing of the College and the Department through activities such as open days and liaison with local employers and schools.
* Engage in core duties including preparation, marking, monitoring student progress, preparing reports, setting and marking examination papers, developing and preparing flexible learning materials.
Qualifications and Experience
* Hold a subject qualification at degree level or equivalent.
* Hold or be studying for a relevant teaching qualification (DTLLS, PGCE or equivalent) or have willingness to train for one.
* Have experience teaching Legal, Law or criminology-related courses.
* Ideally have relevant teaching experience within the Further Education sector.
* Understand the working practice of the law, crime, criminology or social welfare sector.
