Job Title: Year 5 SEND Teaching Assistant (1:1 Support) Contract Type: Full-Time, Fixed Term Start Date: Monday 3rd November 2025 End Date: July 2026 We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEND Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team and work on a 1:1 basis with a pupil in Year 5. This is a full-time role, ideal for someone passionate about inclusive education and committed to making a meaningful difference in a child's learning journey. Key Responsibilities: Provide tailored support to a pupil with special educational needs, ensuring they can access the curriculum and thrive in the classroom. Work closely with the class teacher and SENDCo to implement individual learning plans and strategies. Foster a positive, nurturing environment that promotes confidence, independence, and social development. Monitor progress and contribute to regular reviews and assessments. We're Looking For Someone Who: Has experience working with children with SEND, in a primary school setting. Demonstrates patience, empathy, and a proactive approach to supporting learning. Is a strong communicator and team player. Holds relevant qualifications or training in SEND (desirable but not essential).
