Responsibilities
- Prepare MB BS students to successfully complete the Prescribing Safety Assessment.
- Coordinate and deliver the pharmacology, prescribing and therapeutics components of the MB BS and MSc PA programmes.
- Contribute to the assessment of pharmacology, prescribing and therapeutics in the MB BS and MSc PA programmes.
- Ensure PPT learning materials, activities and assessment are aligned to the curriculum, meet Outcomes for Graduates requirements, and prepare students for the Prescribing Safety Assessment and Medical Licensing Assessment.
- Liaise across the School and partner local education providers to ensure quality of education provision within PPT.
- Provide academic and strategic leadership to all contributors to the PPT curriculum and assessment.
- Work with the programme administration team on the School’s delivery of the Prescribing Safety Assessment.
- Contribute to the wider support and development of tutors.
- Collaborate with the MB BS Programme Director, Deputy Programme Director, other Phase Leads, and clinical and academic staff.
- Work with HYMS teams responsible for curriculum design, development, delivery, assessment and evaluation, including Dedicated PPT Pharmacists, Assessment team, Programme delivery team, and teaching partners within Hull York Medical School, Universities of Hull and York, NHS and external organisations.
