Your Role and Responsibilities
As our SENDCO, you will:
* Lead and coordinate: Drive innovative, evidence-based provisions for children with identified SEND needs.
* Advocate for students: Be the voice for our SEND children, ensuring their needs are met across the school.
* Collaborate with parents: Work closely with families to support their children’s educational journeys.
* Monitor progress: Evaluate the effectiveness of teaching and learning to guide improvements for our SEND students.
What We’re Looking For
Our ideal candidate will:
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status and be eager to pursue relevant SEND CPD and qualifications.
* Have a proven track record as an excellent classroom teacher.
* Possess a thorough understanding of statutory regulations related to SEND and equality.
* Have experience working with various external agencies.
