Role Summary:
As a Manufacturing Engineer (NPI/NPD Lead), you will play a crucial role in leading NPI/NPD projects within the fast-paced aerospace sector. Your responsibilities will include integrating new customer requirements and products into existing manufacturing processes, collaborating closely with key aerospace clients.
Responsibilities:
* Lead NPI/NPD projects from initiation to completion
* Communicate technical requirements with customers and provide regular updates
* Delegate tasks and supervise the engineering team
* Develop documentation, SOPs, and project plans for new processes
* Offer technical expertise in pressing, forming, welding, and fabrication
Essential Skills & Experience:
* Proven track record in leading NPI/NPD projects
* Proficiency in forming, welding, and fabrication processes
* Hands-on experience in a similar role
* Excellent communication and client-facing skills
* Prior experience in the aerospace industry
* Required: DBS and Right to Work checks
Desirable Skills & Experience:
* Additional aerospace industry experience would be advantageous
