Many employees have been with the company for years, a true testament to the culture and work ethic.Whether you're an experienced engineer or a trainee looking for a break into the industry, this role offers both stability and growth in equal measure.Benefits:Competitive salary (£40-42k, negotiable for the right experience)Standby pay and £5 per call for telephone supportSick pay, life insurance, and private medical coverCompany vehicle, laptop, credit card, and pensionCareer progression and ongoing trainingSocial events and employee recognition20 days holiday (negotiable) + long service additionsKey Responsibilities:Service & maintain a variety of systems across Intruder alarms, CCTV, Fire and Access control systems including: Scantronic, Avigilon, Hikvision, Texecom, Paxton, Galaxy, 2N, Advanced & Hyfire.Confidently diagnose and resolve issues on both hard-wired and wireless systems with strong IP knowledge.Work independently and as part of a collaborative team.Maintain a positive, proactive attitude while liaising with customers and internal teams.Skills and Experience:Essential:Experience in service/maintenance (Fire and/or Security)NSI accreditationClean, tidy appearance, strong time management, and excellent communication skillsIdeal:Security screened to BS7858 and DBS clearedUnderstanding of ISO 9001Experience in fire alarm installationsCompany Culture:The business is built on a culture of support, inclusion, and long-term commitment. Regular cross-training sessions, birthday meals, and seasonal events keep the team connected and engaged across all departments.Additional Information:The role involves travelling directly from home to site, with occasional visits to the main office.Standard working hours are 8:30am to 5:00pm with a 30-minute lunch break.Engineers will join a 1 week in 9 on-call rota shared between installation and service teams.Travel time is paid, with time-and-a-half paid for on-site work outside standard hours. Double-time applies after 12pm on Saturdays and all day Sunday, subject to management discretion.
