Job Overview \n\nWe are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Goods In/Out Operator to work for a manufacturing company based in Milton Keynes. The successful candidate will manage the receipt and dispatch of goods, ensuring efficient handling and accurate record-keeping. This role is crucial for maintaining smooth warehouse operations and ensuring timely deliveries of our high-quality products.\n\nKey Responsibilities \n\nGoods In: \n\nReceive, inspect, and verify incoming deliveries against purchase orders and delivery notes.\nReport and document any discrepancies or damaged goods.\nUnload and transport stock using appropriate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet trucks.\nStore goods correctly, adhering to stock rotation procedures to maintain product integrity.
\n\nGoods Out: \n\nPick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch in accordance with company procedures.\nLoad delivery vehicles safely and efficiently, ensuring the protection of our products during transit.\nComplete all relevant documentation accurately to maintain traceability.\nCoordinate with couriers and transport teams to manage dispatch schedules effectively. \n\nGeneral Warehouse Duties: \n\nMaintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.\nComply with health and safety regulations, including manual handling procedures.\nOperate warehouse management systems (WMS) for stock tracking and documentation.\nAssist with stock counts and inventory audits as required.\nSupport additional warehouse duties as assigned by supervisors.Candidate Requirements \n\nPrevious experience in a warehouse or logistics role is preferred.\nA forklift license is desirable but not mandatory; training can be provided.\nExperience with counterbalance and reach trucks is highly desirable.\nAbility to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and moving stock.\nStrong attention to detail and accuracy in recording stock movements.\nGood communication and teamwork skills.\nBasic IT skills for stock control systems and documentation.\nA flexible and adaptable approach to work.Key Competencies \n\nPositive attitude\nWill do approach to challenges\nSelf-motivated team player, motivate and coach the team to operational success\nAble to work under pressure\nResourcefulness\nAttention to Detail\nAdaptability and willingness to embrace change \n\nBenefits: \n\nMonday to Friday 7:30am - 4:30pm (3:30pm finish on Friday's) - 41.5 hours per week\n\nProactive Global is committed to equality in the workplace and is an equal opportunity employer.\nProactive Global is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy
